Vortaloptics is a software development company specializing in Net-native ASP search solutions. We provide customized search solutions to help businesses to connect with their audience and engage their interest. Vortaloptics is currently developing vertical sales channels such as local, residential and radio search properties.

Our development environment is a J2EE 3 tier system using Java version 6, running on Resin server and MySQL database. For code development we are using Eclipse IDE. We deploy our technology on our client's websites via XML in both PHP and ASP.

Vortaloptics hold two patents for its vertical search software. The first patent, awarded in 2009, recognized the unique Software as a Service (SaaS) interface that gives users instant online control over search results, enabling specific keywords to be associated with specific URLs within a search database. In application, users can instantly edit multiple attributes of their search results, as well as add in data from advertisers, affiliates, sponsors and partners, thereby giving visitors a better user experience. The second patent builds on the technology, allows for fixed prioritization of indexed databases. Businesses can thus custom-design search databases that specifically fulfill their unique niche and easily modify the content in real-time to produce the most relevant and fine-tuned search results pages. Its application is particularly useful in vertical search and local search services.
